This is a sneaky scheduled post, as when this goes live I’ll be sitting in a room and listening to the start of the Australian Virtual Assistant Conference (AVAC)!
I was the lucky recipient of a ticket to the event thanks to the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) who are a sponsor of the event, but let’s face it – I’ll take any opportunity to meet with like minded small business owners and network!
The last 6 conferences I attended were all to do with blogging and/or technology, so I’m no longer sure what’s acceptable at a business conference… is live tweeting okay? Leaving your laptop open on the table while a speaker talks? Tweeting someone instead of going over and talking to them? I get the feeling I’ll find out rather quickly!
Don’t worry – I’ll be taking plenty of notes and will be sure to provide you all with a wrap up of the event on my return.
